We had an amazing stay at the lodge! The location was beautiful and the lodge itself was incredibly cosy and well-insulated. We were pleasantly surprised that there were no creepy crawlies or dampness, and Mrs. Ellenshaw really takes excellent care of the place. The fresh flowers added a lovely touch.

The breakfast offerings could be improved, perhaps by adding more variety to the menu.

Great value for money with a cozy cabin in a convenient Lake District location. No signs of damp or bugs, well-insulated and beautifully decorated. Remote location adds to the relaxing atmosphere, ideal for a peaceful getaway. Well-equipped kitchen and a nice farm area for dogs to explore. Candlelit evenings create a magical ambiance.

I always stay at this cozy lodge. Never regret it. They even returned my forgotten headphones on my first visit. Perfect for me with free parking, pet-friendly, and no smoking. Coming back for Christmas!

We stayed at a beautiful, remote property called Moorside Lodge, which provided the relaxing holiday we were after. the lodge itself was ideal for two people and had a well-provided kitchen. It was also great for our dog, with a nice farm area for him to explore. the nighttime ambiance with candles was a lovely touch. it offered good value for money and was within easy driving distance to main Lake District locations. Cons: Nothing, it was perfect! 👌.

The location of the lodge was remote, which allowed for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. the kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. the bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

The lack of attention to detail was disappointing, with no blankets, tea/coffee, or essential toiletries provided. the presence of numerous do not notices throughout the cabin was off-putting.

Mrs. Ellenshaw keeps the place in tip-top shape with well-thought-out amenities. The location was remote, offering a relaxing holiday, and the farm area was perfect for our dog to explore.

If you're seeking an affordable getaway in a tranquil setting, this lodge is an ideal choice. Nestled in a remote location, you can enjoy the peace and quiet you crave. the kitchen is well-stocked, allowing you to prepare meals with ease. the bed is incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring.

It would have been better if there were more recycling opportunities available.

Had a great Easter break in the countryside! The lodge was cozy and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a kitchen stocked with everything we needed. The location was remote, which gave us the peace and quiet we were looking for. The farm area around the lodge was a bonus for our dog to explore.

There were a few things that could have been better. The lack of soap in the bathroom and only one toilet roll for a four-night stay was inconvenient.

    Nothing to be said.
